Helping you think about your wishes

If you haven't thought about your special messages or funeral wishes before you might find the prospect daunting. It needn't be. Here are some questions to help you get started:

  • Is there a message you want to leave with your loved ones?
  • Is there something you always wanted to say but couldn't?
  • Is there something you want them to remember you by?
  • Have you considered the type of funeral that you'd like?
    • Would you want a burial or cremation?
    • Is there a particular form of transport that you would want at your funeral? For example, a horse drawn or motorcycle hearse?
    • Would you like a certain piece or pieces of music played at your funeral?
    • Is there any special clothing you'd like to be dressed in?
    • Would you like a favourite poem read?
    • Are their particular kinds of flowers you'd like sent or would you prefer donations to be made to a particular charity instead?
